Kyrgyz national team leads the medal count in Nomad Games
Cholpon-Ata, Sept. 06, 2018. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz national team is leading in the Third World Nomad Games, the team has 43 medals in its collection, the official site of the games reported. Kyrgyz sportsmen won 15 gold, 15 silver, and 13 bronze medals. In the list Kyrgyzstan is followed by the representatives of Russia. They have 24 prize places (11-5-8). The third line is taken by Kazakhstan. They have 32 medals (9-9-14). The Turkmen - 18, Iran won 8 medals.
 
WNG: Kyrgyz national team becomes champion in rope pulling (results)
Bishkek, Sept. 05, 2018. /Kabar/. Сompetitions in rope pulling took place within the Third World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. Among the participants of the competitions were the national teams of Iran, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. After the drawing of lots, the Kyrgyz national team advanced to the finals. The Iranian sportsmen defeated the Kazakhstani team by the score of 2:0. In the final game the Kyrgyz National team beat the sportsmen from Iran by the score of 2:0 and became champion in rope pulling. After the team competition, one-on-one bouts took place. Each team offered its best athlete. This time fate smiled upon sportsman from Kazakhstan Khairankhaan Shanku, while sportsman from Iran Reza Heytashi and our athlete Avaz Dokeev competed to be the finalist. The Iranian sportsman had an advantage, for he was much heavier than his rivals. The Iranian athlete, who easily defeated Avaz Dokeev, effortlessly beat Kazakh sportsman Khairankhaan Shanku in the final bout. Therefore, in the personal offset the first place is held by Reza Heytashi, the second - Khairankhaan Shanku, and the third - Avaz Dokeev. The total prize fund for rope pulling is 340 thousand soms, which will be divided as follows: Team scoring: first place - 100 thousand soms, second place - 80 thousand soms, and third place - 60 thousand soms. Personal scoring: first place - 50 thousand soms, second place - 30 thousand soms, and third place - 20 thousand soms.
 
III WNG: Kyrgyz team leads in ordo competitions
Bishkek, Sept. 05, 2018. /Kabar/. Competitions in ordo have been taking place in Kyrchyn Gorge starting from September 3. The Secretariat of the Third World Nomad Games reported that the participants of the competitions include 157 sportsmen from 8 countries of the world, such as the Czech Republic, USA, Russia (Moscow oblast), Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia (Sverdlovsk oblast). Results of the first two days: September 3: Game 1: Tajikistan - Kazakhstan – 2:0 Game 2: Kyrgyzstan - Mongolia – 3:0 Game 3: Russia (Moscow oblast) - Czech Republic – 2:0 Game 4: Russia (Sverdlovsk oblast) - USA – 2:0 September 4: Game 1: Kyrgyzstan - Russia (Moscow oblast) – 2:0 Game 2: Tajikistan - USA – 2:0 Game 3: Czech Republic - Mongolia – 2:0 Game 4: Kazakhstan - Russia (Sverdlovsk oblast) – 2:0 On September 5, at 10:00 there will be competitions between the teams of Kyrgyzstan - Czech Republic and Tajikistan - Russia (Sverdlovsk oblast). In addition, in the afternoon at 14:00 there will be the game for 5-6 places. The competitions in ordo are to end on September 6, 2018. The games are held in Kyrchyn Gorge (Issyk-Kul oblast). An ordo team includes 9 people: 8 players, 1 coach. The competitions are for sportsmen at the age of 18 or over. The game is held among men.
 
World Nomad Games organized at high level, consul of Saudi Arabia in Kyrgyzstan
Kyrchyn, Sept. 4, 2018. / Kabar /. The Third World Nomad Games is organized at high level, Mohammed Al Dasari, Consul of the Embassy of the Saudi Arabia in Kyrgyzstan told Kabar News Agency. He said that the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Kyrgyz Republic represents the culture and traditions of its country. “We are very happy to take part in the festival organized within the framework of the Third World Nomad Games,” he said expressing gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the opportunity to take part in this event. The consul said that the event is organized at high level and the service is also very good. “I am impressed that there are many representatives of various nations,” he said. Mohammed Al Dasari said that he is also impressed by the big number of activities within the games. Taking this opportunity he expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event for the high level organization of the event. He wished the Kyrgyz people, the Government of the country the development, prosperity and happiness. The World Nomad Games is the international sports competitions in ethnic sports. The contest was based on the folk games of the nomadic peoples of Eurasia. The main purpose of the Games is to preserve and revive the culture of the nomadic peoples of the world through the strengthening of cultural ties between the participating countries, as well as the preservation and bring the national sports of the nomadic peoples of the world to the international level.
 
Hungary can provide concessional loans to Kyrgyzstan for supporting business
Cholpon-Ata, Sept. 04, 2018. /Kabar/. Hungary will consider the issue of providing concessional loans to Kyrgyzstan for the purposes of supporting the country’s economy. This issue was discussed today at the meeting of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, which was held in Cholpon-Ata. During the bilateral dialogue the sides agreed on expanding the trade-economic relations and supporting entrepreneurs for realizing joint business-projects. Moreover, the Kyrgyz President and Hungarian Prime Minister discussed a number of issues concerning development of cooperation in culture-humanitarian and education sectors. “We express our appreciation to the government of Hungary for planning on increasing the number of scholarships for students from Kyrgyzstan in higher education institutions of Hungary from 25 to 75 places. We welcome joint cultural events and Days of Culture”, Jeenbekov said, during a joint press conference on the outcomes of the negotiations. In March of this year the government of Hungary made a decision to increase scholarship quota for Kyrgyzstan from 25 to 75 places, starting from September 1, 2018. Then the sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen the bilateral relations, discussing a wide spectrum of issues on the international agenda and expressing the similarity of views on main global problems. Furthermore, the heads of foreign ministries of the two countries informed on their aspiration to develop the cooperation within international organizations and fora. This has been the first visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister to Kyrgyzstan. Within three days in Issyk-Kul he took part in the Sixth Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States, where here expressed his country’s readiness to raise the bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to a strategic level. In addition, the Hungarian Prime Minister attended the official opening of the Third World Nomad Games as an honored guest, supporting the sportsmen from his country during the march of the participants.
