Chinese delegation visits Milyanfan village, Chuy oblas
Bishkek, Sept. 07, 2018. /Kabar/. The State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations under the Government of Kyrgyzstan organized a meeting of the Chinese delegation led by Chairperson of the Committee for Ethnic and Religious Affairs of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Wang Weiguang at the rank of the Minister of the People's Republic of China with the residents of Milyanfan village, Issyk-Ata region, Chuy oblast. The press service of the Kyrgyz State Agency reported that within the meeting the delegation visited local Museum after M. Vanahun-Hero of the Soviet Union, applied arts exhibition, kindergarten of Milyanfan village, M. Vanahun Secondary School, a mosque, greenhouse for growing agricultural crops (M. Schinar family-operated farm), and learned more about the way of life (household), farm management, traditions, and culture of the Dungan families. Member of Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) A. Usurov, Deputy Director of State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations Togonbaev, Chairperson of the People's Assembly of Kyrgyzstan Tokon Mamytov, representatives of the Dungan diaspora, and the staff of Issyk-Ata Regional State Administration also participated in the event.
 
III WNG. Kyrgyz sportsmen become champions in Kyrgyz kuroshu

Competitions in Kyrgyz kuroshu took place within the Third World Nomad Games at the Physical Culture and Health Complex in Baktuu-Dolonotu village. 131 sportsmen from 38 countries took part in the competitions. Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan thanks CIS News Agencies for their support in covering III WNG
Bostery, Sept. 6, 2018. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Culture of Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan Ainura Temirbekova thanked the leaders of the News Agencies of the CIS countries for the active coverage of the Third World Nomad Games. At the opening of the XXV meeting of the Council of heads of state news agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which is now taking place at the Nomad amphitheater in Bostery village in Issyk-Kul coast, she delivered a welcoming remark in which she noted the importance for Kyrgyzstan of information support and partnership. "We are glad that a lot of other events are taking place in the framework of our event. We heard about your close interaction and are very pleased that this meeting is taking place in our country. I hope you will take away a bit of heat from the Kyrgyz people, and return home with good memories," she said. She also said that the World Nomad Games was planned in 2012 to contribute to the development of nomadic culture and the popularization of national sports. "This year we strengthened the cultural component of the Games. We were not mistaken in offering authentic content to the world. Athletes from 70 countries of the world take part in the Games this year in 27 kinds of sports, and the cultural program has included the performances of 28 countries," Temirbekova said. She noted that all the ongoing events have positive feedback from both the media and the tourists themselves. In this regard, she stressed the special role of the guests of the meeting in supporting the spread of the project, which Kyrgyzstan cherishes very much. In turn, the meeting participants thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and appreciated the initiative to hold a meeting in the resort area on the shore of the beautiful Issyk-Kul Lake.
 
Heads of CIS News Agencies will meet in Issyk-Kul
Bostery, Sept. 6, 2018. / Kabar /. The 25th meeting of the Council of heads of state-run News Agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is taking place in Issyk-Kul. The organizer of the event is Kabar News Agency of Kyrgyzstan. During the meeting, the participants of the meeting will discuss the role of mass media in the development of domestic tourism within the framework of the Year of Culture in the CIS, the work of Kabar News Agency in covering the Third World Nomad Games, the activities of the CIS Executive Committee in the sphere of information exchanges between the Commonwealth states and the most important events in the region in 2018-2019. In addition, the participants will talk about the media activities that they represent. At the end of the Council, a joint agreement is expected to be signed between the Kabar News Agency and Armenpress News Agency.
