Kyrgyz Prime Minister meets with WB Senior Vice President
Bishkek, July 11, 2018. / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev met with Senior Vice President of the World Bank Sendri Okoro. The Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported that during the meeting the sides discussed issues of deepening bilateral cooperation, implementing joint projects aimed at socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic. The prime minister noted that a long-term development strategy is being developed until 2040, which involves the implementation of more active and focused state economic policy. "For this purpose, the program entitled "Unity, Trust, Creation" was developed and approved. Another key program for the Government is the "Concept of the regional policy of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period 2018-2022", which envisages the regional development of selected cities and will be an effective example for other regions,” said Abylgaziev. He also added that within the priorities of the Government for the medium-term, the priority areas for cooperation with international development partners are the implementation of investment projects within the framework of the "Unity, Trust, Creation" medium-term program, as well as priority regional development projects. In turn, Okoro noted that the World Bank supports the efforts of the government aimed at implementing development projects. "Kyrgyzstan has great prospects for improving the economic indicators of the regions. Together with other development partners we are ready to continue providing support to the Kyrgyz people to improve the quality of life and expand opportunities for development, "Okoro said. The Prime Minister and WB Senior Vice President of agreed to continue developing cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank in achieving the goals and ensuring sustainable development of the country.
Hungary will come to Nomad Games
Bishkek, July 11, 2018. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary with a residence in Vienna Bakyt Dzhusupov discussed with Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Zsolt Cutora the issues of the bilateral agenda and the participation of the Hungarian delegation in the Third World Nomad Games, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. During the meeting, the sides agreed on the preliminary dates for the first meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Hungarian commission on trade and economic cooperation in 2018 and the possibility of organizing a Kyrgyz-Hungarian business forum in the framework of this meeting. In the framework of multilateral cooperation, Ambassador Dzhusupov appealed to the Hungarian side to support the election of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN Security Council's Non-permanent Members for 2027-2028. Dzhusupov also informed the Hungarian diplomat about the preparations for the Third World Nomad Games and invited Hungary to send a sports and cultural delegation to participate. For his part, the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary assured that his country will be represented at the highest level. On the same day Dzhusupov held meetings with the leadership of the Department for Economic Cooperation and the Department for Tourism Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, where he discussed the implementation of specific projects within the planned first meeting of the Intergovernmental commission and the signing of bilateral agreements in the field of investment promotion, avoidance of double taxation and cooperation in tourism.
Park of High Technologies of Kyrgyzstan and AstanaHub sign memorandum of cooperation
Bishkek, July 10, 2018 / Kabar /. In Astana, the Park of High Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic and the AstanaHub, International Technopark of IT-start-ups signed a memorandum of cooperation. Third World Nomad Games and tourist potential of Kyrgyzstan presented in Germany
Bishkek, July 10, 2018 / Kabar /. Within the framework of the Open Door Day, on July 6, 2018, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the International Academy for the Conservation of Nature organized a presentation of the Third World Nomad Games, the tourist potential of the country, as well as a photo exhibition dedicated to 90 th aanniversary of famous Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov on the famous Wilm Island (Germany), located in the Baltic Sea, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Wilm Island is located near the large island of Rügen, which is the most popular tourist area in Germany, and attracts visitors with its unusual forests and picturesque nature. Every year many tourists visit the island on the Open Day. The embassy installed a Kyrgyz yurt with national decorations. A video presentation of the nomadic games was held, booklets, magazines and other information materials about the tourist potential of the country were distributed. Visitors showed a special interest in the upcoming World Nomad Games and ethnotourism in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the International Conservation Academy of the Federal Nature Conservation Agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, who worked in Kyrgyzstan for many years in the field of environmental protection Torsten Harder noted that the Kyrgyz yurt is a symbol of sustainable development and careful attitude to nature in Central Asia. The number of guests of the Open Day was more than 1500 people.
